Stability: Naturally dark and non-hydrophane, meaning it is more stable and does not change appearance when exposed to water, unlike “smoked” or hydrophane Welo opals.
Size: Typically found as nodules or chunks ranging from 2–5 cm, though specimens up to 10 cm have been recorded
